Brief Recap On Maryland Non Revenue Spring Sports

Women’s Water Polo won the CWPA Southern Division Championship by defeating Princeton and this weekend enters the CWPA Eastern Championship as 3rd seed.

Led by Chris Gold, the Men’s golf team posted its best finish in the ACC Championships by finishing in 6th place. Gold shot back to back 70’s to finish in 10th place individually. Jessica Hollander led the Lady Terps to a 7th place finish in the ACC Championships.

Men’s Tennis finished off a disappointing year (7-14) by being eliminated in the 1st round of the ACC playoffs by Virginia Tech.

Maryland senior Michelle Fedrick earned All-ACC honors with her second-place finish in the women’s 400-meter dash, highlighting Terrapin performances Saturday on the final day of the Atlantic Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships being hosted by the University of Miami. Zack Ray, a freshman, was Maryland’s top point-scorer in the meet for the men, getting five for his fourth-place finish with 52.79 in the 400 hurdles and another two team points to place seventh in the 110 hurdles at 14.65.
