A routine throw to first that was inexplicably dropped by Ty Wigginton opened the floodgates for the White Sox to score all 4 of their runs to deafeat the O’s 4-3. The one bright spot of the game was the the arms of the Orioles‘ outfielders. Reimhold and Markakis each threw strikes to elimate 2 runs or more in the disastrous 5th inning.
