Once again the #11 Terps dominated a team yet struggled to achieve victory. Kevin Tangney tied the score at 1 with 3 minutes left and the Freshman John Stertzer nailed the winner with 52 seconds left. The Terps outshout VTech 17-5. “We had a little fortune from our angel in the sky tonight,” Coach Cirovski said, referencing the passing of long-time Maryland athletics supporter and men’s soccer fan Jack Heise. “This win is dedicated to him.”
