And don't give me the "but they are good" bs, because that is plain out not the point. Remember when at Cole Field House they were like 120-1 at one point? In the last few years, this program has just gone totally downhill. Losses to American, Morgan, and others. I still remember holding home against Stanford with Steve Francis, and then Florida. My how it is all gone. Now, Ross is leaving, which is obviouslly what is going to happen now. I strongly think a change at Head Coach is in order. This mediocrity is NOT WHAT SHOULD HAVE COME FROM THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP! He can't recruit, and these losses that used to be unheard of are now common place. And I don't want to hear about beating Carolina last year or the year before. We got spanked by Duke, and anyone that says that....don't you remember when we used to be a perrenial top 20 and this NEVER HAPPENED? Fire Williams now. Anyway, how can ANYONE say Vasquez is a great player is just not watching the same games or something. Losing Ross is the camel's back, I truly believe that MD basketball is gone, and will never come back regardless of firing Gary or not, but they have to try to go after a blue chip coach that actually knows how to recruit.
