It wasn’t pretty but the Terrapins again did what is so difficult to do–win on the road in the ACC> The Terps came into the game on a 6 game win streak and the Cavaliers were on an 8 game losing streak and their premier player Sylvan Landesberg was suspended fro the team. A true recipe for disaster.
The Terps maintaine d a 10 point lead throughout the game but could not put the Cavs away. Sure enouigh they stormed back to get within 1 point before an idiotic technical by Coach Bennett put the game safely in the win column.
Again, Landon Milbourne shot 1-7 from the field. Ther Terps neeto right that ship immediately.
Greivis though admittingly tossed up some weak shots, managed to come through with 3 three point shots late in the game. The ACC POY (clearly in my opinion) finished with 23 points, 4 steals and provided leadership as always.
Adrian Bowie again played a key role in the win scoring 8 on 3-3 shooting.
Any hope for some help from Carolina was immediately dispensed with after 3 minutes of their game with Duke.
The Terps await the winner of Georgia Tech and Carolina for a Friday night 7 pm Matchup.
