1) The concussion Matt Howard had on Saturday had to effect the 5 snowbirds he missed. After watching him intently, he is one heck of a ballplayer.
2) Lance Thomas committed a horrible flagrant foul yet none of the talking heads disagreed with the call.
3) Coach Stevens—that was the best play you could come with at the end of the game.
4) Does anyone on the planet wonder why Coach K totally mishandled the career of Zoubek, who wasn’t a starter until the Maryland game of his Senior year. Handled properly, Zoubek should have been a 1st round pick yet he is not even on any mock draft list.
5) What was the fire about at Duke–postgame? I didn’t hear the word hooligans.
6) Why do we have to suffer listening to all the Dookies on the tube? Dookie Vitale especially but don’t forget Sean Davis, Jay Williams, and Mike Gminski. Please take Mr Suspenders off all Maryland games!!!
7) Steve Blake was never called for palming the ball until the Terps had a 26 point against Duke.
8) If there was any justice, Gordon Hayward’s last shot would have banked in.
9) Kyle Singler played great , Scheyer and Smith were 10-27 and 2-10 from the 3 point line. But like I said the difference was Zoubek, Mr Neglected.
10) On a final note to end the season. Duke 13-3 in the ACC. Maryland 13-3 in the ACC. Greivis is better then anyone on Duke’s squad. The Terps were the last team to beat Duke. Why oh why did Corey Luscious have to make that last shot?

congrats to duke. they won. all year long butler had trouble shooting the ball and last night it cost them the game. the bulldogs had plenty of open looks from the outside that didn’t go in and numerous drives to the basket that they couldn’t finish. in the end one basket here by butler, one miss instead of a make by duke and the game goes the other way. butler held their own on the boards and they played great defense. tell me why maryland can’t make the same effort that butler does for 40 min on defense? the effort has nothing to do with talent or athleticism. both butler and duke played hard for all 40 min. great game. near story book fairy tale ending.

and the comment about the best play butler could come up with at the end. no timeouts and it a rebound off a missed free throw. did you notice the great pick howard executed to give heyward a good look at the basket. it’s not like it was an out of bounds play.
