Future Bodes Well–Pe’Shon and Terrell Stand Out At Capital Classic

We all have continually watched Pe’Shon Howard at Oak Hill but last night was the debut of Terrell Stoglin in the area. Both players presented themselves well. Pe’Shon sporting a #21 jersey, scored 14 shooting 6-10 from the field and dishing 3 assists. Stoglin. a lefty, shor 4-8 from the field including 3 threes.  With all the points from the 3 seniors graduating these 2 guys will get the minutes next year and their scoring will be a necessity. Haukur Palsson scored 3 with 4 rebounds. Pe’Shon talked about his deadly shooting on a youtube video recorded by the Diamondback. Since I was doing the show, Dino was sent to cover the game and will report his observations tomorrow.

spoke to someone who went to the game. said pe shon and stoglin played well. and the hawk didn’t show much. just a note about the orioles. on their next home stand fans will be given orange paper bags to wear over their heads and face. i think having the bags in orange adds a nice touch.

These young guys are gonna bring alot of excitement to College Park next season, especially Pe’Shon… his confidence and swagger remind me some of another #21 I know. I’m ready to put the heartbreak of how this season ended (ok, I’m still holding onto it but seeing these kids play is helping some) behind me and look ahead to 2010-2011. We will be dangerous next year, these young guys are excited to be playing for UM and I look forward to seeing them do some special things next season.

The Hawk will no doubt be a project but I am excited about the rest of this class. Always tough to tell how a players game will translate at the next level. Pe’Shon should be able to transition pretty easily considering the competition Oak Hill faces every year.
