Congratulations to Head Coach Laura Watten and the Lady Terrapin Softball team for being selected to the NCAA Field of 64 Sunday Night. The Terps will host Fordham on Friday night. Syracuse and #14 Oklahoma will play the other game of the doubleheader. The Lady Terps are led by pitcher Kerry Hickey and All ACC Senior Alex Schultz. “This is just an awesome accomplishment for us. I was hired at Maryland to get this team into the postseason and compete with the best in the country. We earned the respect of the NCAA committee because of our success and strength of schedule, and it is a testament to the strength of ACC softball,” head coach Laura Watten said.
