Note To The Patriots—-“The World is Round” as Wes Welker Squanders Away the Super Bowl With Dropped Pass

The highlight replay for me last night was watching the New England bench in disbelief when Welker dropped the wide open pass. No it ws not perfect but I guarantee you the Lombardi Award presenter –Raymond Berry –would have caught it.

I guess Coach Bill figured lightning could never strike twice when he allowed the Giants to score the Touchdown rather then lose by a lock field goal. However, Tynes must have been the happiest guy on the field not being put in the position to pull a Cundiff.

As I said the loss of Gronkowski was too much to overcome. I should have known no one recovers from a high ankle sprain in 2 weeks. Todd Heap is still recovering 5 years later.

I have to admit I was sick watching the game without the Ravens. For whatever reason I was rooting for New England but would have been more pleased if Da’Rel Scott scored a TD for the Giants.

Tough day for the legacy of Tom Brady. Big day for Eli. I am glad the season is over and refuse to watch any of the Giants’ celebration or press conferences.

Note to Coach Bill—Ochocinco might have helped win that game.
