Stoglin Bypassed in NBA Draft–2nd Round Continues to be a Joke

Why even have a 2nd round. There were so many foreigners selected who will never see  USA soil let alone play for a NBA team, that it is a joke. Furthermore the 2nd round selection does not guarantee a roster position with a slotted salary. Therefore many players are selected by teams where they have no chance to make the squad. At least as a free agent a player could tryout  for a squad where he might have a chance to make it. By the way as the Hornets selected Austin Rivers with the 10th pick in the draft, I believe that this does not bode well for Greivis. Another trade for the Terrapin legend might be coming.

    You were reading my mind. I’m a Georgetown fan and could not believe Hollis Thompson or Henry Sims were not picked up by one of these teams that could use a player now rather than wait to see if one of these players can get out of their contract. What were the Knicks thinking. They are the worst team to watch on draft night.
