  first i think reggie was right about the arod comments. probably uncalled for unless he was asked a specific question. second, i’ve never bought into the reggie being a yankee. yes played for ny. and he chose to wear a ny cap when inducted into the hall of fame but i think he did that because it’s better business sense saying you’re a new york yankee hall of famer and his massive ego saying i’m just like babe ruth, lou gehrig and mickey mantle. he should have gone in the hall as an oakland a’s player. that’s where he spent more years than any other city and that’s where he had his best seasons. reggie played in oak for 10 yrs, ny and cal for 5 yrs each and balt for one year. great power hitter, ave defense, strong but inconsistent arm. overall obnoxious person.
