Joe Girardi Demanding Instant Replay and Yes The Ball Nicked the Pole—Tons of Empty Seats as Tigers Win 3-0

I wined about the supposed foul ball hit by McLouth in game 5 but Buck never cried a tear. Now the Yankees get jobbed by a bad call at second and MLB Exec Joe Torre starts talking about instant replay. Add 6 or 7 instant replays and pretty soon we will have 4 hour baseball.

Instant replay s misused in all sports.
It should be a requirement that the head official is located in the booth, watching and controlling the videos available. He would signal down if there is an egregious call or if there is a possible controversy on the field.
It should not take longer than a minute fir bus review.
I am a believer in electronic digital balls and strikes. After watching the digital side frames on the TBS telecasts for every pitch, it is beyond obvious how poorly the essential ball/strike calls have been miscalled.
I understand the officials union roadblocks, but a strong commissioner in the major sports is mandatory at this point , with the billions involved in making accurate calls to sustain the integrity in sports.
