Conversation With Indiana Coach Tom Crean at Montrose Christian Spalding Game

I had to take my mind off the horrific Ravens’ loss to the Skins Sunday , so I stopped in Archbishop Spalding (Coached by Derrick Lewis) to watch the Spalding Montrose game. IU Coach and John Harbaugh’s brother in law, Tom Crean was there watching someone from Montrose. I spoke with him a few minutes about the Ravens game and the Terps entering the Big 10. Spalding was no match for Montrose, and by the way Montrose was bigger and more physical then any high school team I have seen in years.

Seems the only way Ravens can win, is if Flaaco is simplified at QB’S, and observant ice to minimize his mistakes. Perhaps Cameron is falling on the sword, to protect the Flacco perception.
It is beyond obvious that Joe is not a leader or capable of taking this team to the Championship.
I would not consider signing him long term, and would consider inning Vick over him next year.
Also I know I am in the minority, but Rice is just not all that. I was against signing him also.
Just perhaps that is why he seems under utilized, he is not an every down back/workhorse.
He is a 3rd down back and sunstitute to me for a bigger more brusing runner, to me nothing more.
He can not be utilized between the tackle consistently. Notice how many plays he spends on the sidelines?
Also I feel a new DC should be a priority, but do not have the confidence in Harbaugh to make he necessary changes.
Both Flacco and Harbaugh are deer in the headlights.
