Observations of a great Terrapin win:

A very strong 26 minutes from Shaq Cleare. This is very promising as Shaq has had his 2nd fine effort in a row.

Seth once again was special at home. He took over the overtime and perhaps he might become the go to guy when the game is on the line. We can only wonder how much better this team could have been with a healthy Seth Allen the entire season

Smotrycz coming off the bench again–5-7 shooting, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, 0 Turnovers

Turgeon honored the all the hard work and effort by the Terps’ lone Senior, John Auslander by honoring him with a start today

Dez turned in his usual 2nd half performance, garnering 16 points on 5-7 shooting

For UVA joe harris was mediocre today with 12 points on 3-10 from the field. Akil Mitchell was invisible, but London Perrantes kept the Hoos in the game with his stellar PG play.

Lots of nostalgic feelings echoed throughout Comcast but honestly very little from me.

Storming the court against UVA?—a team the Terps have beaten 107 times—-???????????????

So it’s onto the ACC Tournament in neutral Greensboro, North Carolina. It’s amazing what a non event this has become. For years it was one of the most impossible tickets to get. You had to be in the upper reaches of donors to even get a pair of tickets. No more. The ACC has had to resort to tv ads in an effort to sell tickets. Several schools will be barely represented. I hardly know anyone from Maryland attending the event. As usual the Carolina schools will semi fill the arena should they advance to the semis and beyond. Wednesday play in games will be played before a virtually empty arena.

So long it’s been good to know you.
