Almost every fan in the stadium knew the O’s were doomed as Cabrera came to the plate in the 9th. Tommy hunter hung a curve and Cabrera slammed a HR into the teeth of a 20mph wind.
What could have happened:
Darrin O”Day should have started the 9th as he was unhittable in the 8th. What rule says Hunter has to come in?
How in the world can you Hunter pitch to Cabrera? It’s not a fair match. This is on Buck ont Hunter. I would never have pitched to him.
In the past week, Hunter has been horrible. How can he still be the closer?
