I still can’t believe that Team Invincible lost. Team Canada must have watched films of Maryland’s slow down offense of 2012 that usually just absolutely frustrated the opponents and perhaps led to the establishment of a shot clock in College lacrosse. Team USA just had minimal possessions and when goods shots were found, Canada’s Dillon Ward would make the stop, Kevin Crowley notched 5 goals for Team Canada. Rob Pannell continued his stellar play scoring once and dishing 3 assists.
11,600 attended the Championship game.
Iriquois Nation was victorious in the 3rd place game with a 16-5 win over the Aussies.
Jesse Bernhardt had the goal of the game with a backhanded no look shot after a Pannell feed.
