Can’t blame Hunter or Buck for this one as Jonathan Schoop misplayed a pop fly that started the disasterin the 8th. However Schoop made at least 2 plays that kept the O’s in the game.
Weaver was in total control of the O’s yet the Birds squeaked out 2 runs to maintain a lead heading into the bottom of the 8th
Adam Jones had a key 2 out hit that gave the O’s the lead. Jones is batting .341 with runners in scoring position and 2 out.
So after 6 games out West the O’s are 3-3 with a 4 game series in Seattle starting tomorrow.
