It was hard to watch this massacre Saturday morning. The USA trailing 6 1/2 to 5 1/2 after 3 sessions, got destroyed 3 1/2 to 1/2 in the Saturday alternate shot format.
Coach Tom Watson’s mistakes:
Not playing Speith and Reed in the afternoon matches on Friday.
3 Captain picks Keegan Bradley, Hunter Mahan, and Webb Simpson have gone 2-4.
Speith and Fowler were obviously tired on Saturday, yet he chose to play them over Phil and Keegan both of whom sat out day 2.
But the whole truth really is that the Euros are just much better. Don’t worry about missing any of the Ravens game watching the Ryder Cup. The end will be decided by 11AM.
