Three members of the Maryland men’s golf team finished in the top 10 on the leaderboard to help the Terrapins win the Maryland Invitational at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. Tuesday.
Freshman David Kocher finished tied for third with his combined score of 217 (73-68-76), which was one stroke over on the tournament. Senior Connor Tendall finished tied for seventh with his score of 219 (69-77-73) and junior Tom Harris finished tied for ninth. He shot a 220 (75-71-74) on the tournament.
Sophomore Victor Fox went one-under par in the final round, finishing tied for 13th with his score of 221 (78-72-71). Senior Ben Warnquist tied for 20th with a combined score of 224 (73-73-78).
The Terrapins claimed their first tournament win since 2010.
