Peyton on the Scoreboard operator “I got a problem with our scoreboard operator; I’ve got to have a little talk with him,” Manning said after the game. “I’m not sure what he’s doing. He’s playing music and showing players dancing, getting the crowd fired up and we have the ball. I don’t think we should be doing that.”

In Milwaukee, Ned Yost was constantly getting criticized for making goofy moves. Mind you, the Milwaukee press is not exactly like the New York or Boston press. Mostly mild mannered.

I remember late in the season in 2007 the Brewers were in contention and they were playing the Cardinals. Fielder was deliberately hit. In a very close game with the Brewers ahead, Albert Puhols was deliberately hit. Problem was he was the go ahead run. Next batters hits a double, clears the bases and the Brewers loose. The media went berserk and were ready to kill Ned. Of course in those days, Puhols was a monster and at least he did not beat them with his bat.

    Winning fixes everything.
