The Maryland men’s basketball team moved up four spots to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 9 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Top 25 on Monday.
The Terps, who defeated No. 5 Wisconsin and Michigan last week, are ranked in the Top 10 for the first time in both polls since February 3, 2003 (ranked No. 8 at that time). Maryland, winners of five straight contests, is 24-5 overall and is 12-4 in its inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference.
Maryland travels to Rutgers on Tuesday for a game against the Scarlet Knights at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
My take—Happy days are here again!!
