Rasheed Sulaimon is a Terp. What’s that mean for Maryland?

Most Terp fans are beyond excited for the 2015/16 season.  One of the prime reasons is the verbal commitment of former Blue Devil guard Rasheed Sulaimon.

Wayne and Todd reviewed the situation in preparation for TerpTalk on Wednesday 6p on 1300 CBS Sports Radio.

Wayne: Well, now that the transfer of Rasheed Sulaimon is official this show is practically writing itself.

Todd: Rasheed Who-Laimon?

Wayne (a bit taken aback): You’re kidding, right?

Todd: Only a little. I guess this is a big deal, huh?  I have been following all the other sports like lacrosse and baseball a lot more closely than who the basketball team may bring in as a 5th year transfer.

Wayne: Sulaimon could be the best Dukie to come to Maryland since Lefty.

Todd: He’ll probably be the only one other than Lefty not to get booed when he steps on Gary Williams court at Xfinity Center. Do you think he should come out at Maryland Madness wearing his Duke jersey? Then he rips it off and slam dunks it into a waiting trash can stationed under the hoop?

Wayne: That would be spectacular!  Probably not going to happen.  We need to discuss how this changes the team for the upcoming season.

Todd: Seriously, there are really lots of implications.

Wayne: And we should talk about as many as we can.
