Tough night for the DC faithful. Up 3-1 in the quarterfinal series the Caps lost a succession of 3 one goal games to the Rangers. Once again Ovie fails to make a Conference final.
John Wall returned to the Wizards lineups and played valiantly if not spectacularly. Cut to the chase, Paul Pierce hit a 3 point shot with 8 seconds left to give the Wiz an 81-80 lead. Al Horford fought for a loose ball after a John Wall block and put it home for the win.
