Comments on Zach Johnson’s Victory in the Open Championship

It’s amazing what it takes to win a major:

Zach Johnson, who probably played his way into the Hall of Fame today, made 4 consecutive incredibly high pressure putts to achieve victory.

Zach  went up and fron the road on the most difficult hole in golf, 17 at St Andrews.

Jordan Spieth 4 putted #8 after missing several short putts on Saturday , yet still lost by a stroke.

Louis O. saw his putter turn cold after charging into the playoff.

Dustin Johnson shot 75 twice in rounds 3 and 4 and finished at -4 —11 shots out of the lead.

Sergio once again knocked at the door but could not close the deal.

Jason Day left a tying putt a few inches short, as he just fell short again.

Adam Scott shot 5 over in the last 4 holes to lose the tournament.

Mark Leishman shot 64-66 in the final 2 round yet faltered in the playoffs.
