Post Game Quotes from Randy Edsall
On the game
“I’m really proud of our kids. They went out and played their hearts out putting all the distractions behind them. They went out there and
played until the very end. As a coach, I couldn’t ask more of them for what they did here today.”
On running the ball at the quarterback position
“That was our game plan today. I thought our coaches did a great job of game planning and I thought that the kids did a great job of
executing it. We knew that we had to run the ball against them and the quarterback was going to be a big part of what we were going to
do to be successful.

On quarterback Perry Hills

“Perry Hills was a warrior today. He just competed, took some shots and kept going. He was a guy that made the big plays for us all day
long.

I enjoyed watching the terppins play. I hope they play like this rest of the season. I would love to see the terppins play a triple option.

Maryland Football can compete in the Big Ten, with blacking schemes and speed.

I was very proud of the effort given by the team. I think Coach RE should stay at least one more year for several reasons and they are: (1) He has more inroads to the high schools in the DMV then any coach Maryland has had before, (2) He has done better at recruiting than any Maryland coach since Jerry Claiborne, (3) the team would not play as hard if they did not like & respect him, (4) the players parent’s like him, & (6) the great academic improvement of the football team. I know this stance is in the minority but a lot of the same naysayers wanted to run two basketball coaches out of town & they are Williams & Turge.
