i think it was magid’s last second shot vs nc state that sent the game into ot. though i could be wrong. or maybe he had a couple shots like that. but Jan 10, 1977 – The Cumberland News (Cumberland, Maryland), Monday, January 10, … North Carolina gained a measure of revenge from last year’s loss to … But Maryland called time and Brian Magid hit a 30- foot shot to send the game into overtime. …

foolish to try to compare curry’s range and shooting to oscar and guys from that era or at any time before he 3. guys didn’t take 25 footers other than downtown freddy brown

curry is amazing and probably the best shooter of all time. he benefits from playing is a less physical nba than was played in the past. had he played yrs ago he would have been run into screens all night while on defense as teams would look to wear him down physically. but he can really shoot it.

robert carter doesn’t have an nba body or the strength to play inside in the nba and though he was 4-6 from beyond the arc yesterday he doesn’t have the outside game for the nba. matter of fact he was shooting under 30% from 3 before yesterday’s game.

van pelt is an excellent guy to have on but who talks more him or kevin sheehan or what his record at terps games is. come on. gotta do better than that
