The Terps’ offense looked pretty crisp for the first three quarters but had a pair of sloppy turnovers to open the fourth costing them some momentum.
After the first quarter, Maryland’s defense was nothing short of spectacular.
I’m a little bothered by Bernlohr’s slow starts the last few games. If it continues, that pattern will make for some very challenging games when the competition stiffens up beginning Saturday at JHU.
Also, as fans, we should have perhaps more than a little concern over Bonaprte’s injury and Henningsen’s now two plus games absence from the field.
In other notes:
Combining conference and tournament trophies, this marks Maryland’s 14th B1G title in less than two full seasons in the conference.
Congrats also to Maryland’s men’s golf team for a third place finish at the B1G Championship this weekend and to women’s tennis for finishing over .500 in B1G play.
