the orioles were 500 last yr which doesn’t get a fan base excited about the following season.
the orioles had a dreadful beginning to spring training which raised doubts further about the team.
coming off a 500 season plus the feeling fans had about spring training even though they finished up well would slow ticket sales but combine that with cold wet weather and you are not going to get many fans to come out to the games.
baseball is a warm weather sport. to expect people to come out, pay good money and sit in the rain and cold to watch a game is ridiculous
