I said three years ago, two years ago, last year & will repeat myself once again. The O’s will never win a world series with Buck as the manager, Dan as the GM & with so called pitchers as Jimenez. Why I dislike Buck as a manager is simple. His procedure with starting pitchers where he will leave the starting pitchers in for 5 complete innings even though they walk several batters & get hit like it is batting practice for the other teams. He also keeps the same batting order no matter who is in a slump. In other words he is reactive rather than proactive. Dan purchases some lousy players. One being Jimenez & lets go of the good players. Did he try to keep Cruz? I watch a large majority of the O’s games and root for them always but with overcoming the obstacles form poor management they have a lot to over come to make the playoffs.
