Why is anyone surprised by being swept by the Astro’s. All they did was have starting pitchers that threw off speed pitches. I have been saying for years that a team should not throw fastballs to Davis or Jones period. But it was worst than I thought. It affected most of the team. That is the main reason I did not want to resign Davis coupled with the fact we could have saved the money and resigned Chen. Buck & Dan have to go!

so the home runs and rbi’s davis has produced and his outstanding defense since coming to baltimore means nothing.
the fact that jones over his course in baltimore hits around 280 with 25-30 home runs, 80-90 rbi’s and outstanding defense every year means nothing.
so far this yr pitching in the nl chen is 3-2 with a 4.61 era. not exactly mowing em down
