No Joy in DC Tonight as the Nats Lose Game 5 to LA 4-3

I’m sure it’s no solace to Nats’ fans, but what an incredible game, albeit a “little” too long.

What can you say about Clayton Kershaw, who after pitching on Tuesday came back on one days rest to get the final 2 out and save the victory.

Dave Roberts, the unorthodox manager of the Dodgers, brought in closer Kenley Jansen in the 7th inning and got 2 1/3 shutout innings from him before bringing in Kershaw.

Goat of the game—Nats 3rd Base Coach Bob Henley who sent Jason Werth home on a double. Werth was thrown out by 40 feet.

Max Scherzer as usual was great for DC, pitching 6 innings and allowing only 1 run

95 win season comes to an end for the Nats
