It was a 4 hour marathon where I really had no rooting interest but it was the best game of the year–by far.
Deshaun Watson was brilliant , courageous, gutty, and clutch –the Best player in the nation.
Criticism–just too many going to the reviews. It was ridiculous. There were so many stoppages of play that only these 2 teams could overcome the breaks of momentum. Something has to change. Perhaps only have reviews in the 4th quarter. Listen, Bama will be crying about what was an obvious illegal pick play to free up Renfro and win the game for Clemson. But, it is not review-able. The deeper the plays allowed to be reviewed gets the more absurd the games will become. Are we going to start reviewing holding calls or pass interference. The games would never end. Remember it is a game.
It was amazing to see some of the innovative plays in crunch time by both teams, which we never see in the NFL.

Now only if the Terps can get to that level.
