Is 16-2 Enough for the Top 25?–Just Keep Winning Baby–Terps 62 Illini 56

There seems to be a new X factor every game for the Terps. Today it was Jaylen Brantley, off the bench to score 12 points to go along with 6 rebounds.

Anthony Cowan led the way today with 19 points on but 7 shots, as Melo was off from the field today. He still finished with 12 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Illinois went through a 8 minute spell in the 2nd half scoreless.

2-1 at home and 2-0 on the road puts Maryland in a tie for 1st place in the Big 10.

Next up–at Iowa Thursday night the back at Xfinity on Tues Jan 24 against Rutgers.
