Observations of one of the weirdest 4 hour lax games in memory:
2 lengthy lightning and hail delays just stretched out the final 4 minutes over 32 hours
2 great saves by Goalie Dan Morris and 1 heads up battle to the end line basically preserved the 4th win for the Terps
Colin Heacock had 3 goals for the Terps on 3 lefty rocket shots
Terps lost 8 of 9 face offs in the 1st quarter yet led 5-2
Once again 2 longpole goals for Maryland inc Tim Mullers first as a Terps
The Run DMC (Dylan, Matt, and Colin) line was “held” to 9 points
Fr Jared Bernhardt scored twice to continue his blazing hot start
Note: Yale’s Tewaaraton Finalist was out with a hamstring problem but M Eric Scott more then filled in for him with5 goals and 1 assist
Elsewhere in the Big 10 today–The Big 10 is now 23-0 on the season
