Despite 13 Saves From Goalie Dan Morris—The #4 Irish take down the #1 Terps 5-4

It was not a great day for Lacrosse–temperature wise–and it was a miserable day for the vaunted Terps offense.

Losing 9 of face offs and committing 20 turnovers is a recipe for defeat.

For various reasons the Terps always have trouble scoring against Corrigan and the Irish.

Goalie Dan Morris and his buddy “the Pipes” kept Maryland close with 13 saves.

Notre Dame also had a rough offensive day, committing 17 turnovers.

It was not a lax classic

The #1 Terps will surely fall out of the #1 Ranking but there is a silver lining in this game–Tillman has seen some of the offensive flaws in March and will more easily deal with them in late May if such a rematch occurs.

Next up at Albany next Saturday. Yes the Thompsons have graduated and we should expect a better showing offensively.
