Once again Sean Miller coached Zona to defeat. Zona was up 69-61 with 3:45 left. Miller continued to fail to direct his team to get the ball down low. Instead they 3’d themselves to an early ride home. Miller knew there would be a a variety of zones thrown at him but failed to prepare properly. Another year of wasting great talent.
Most idiotic question of the year. A reporter asked Mark Few, Coach of Gonzaga, what it would mean to get the monkey off his back and finally get to a final four. Mark Few was furious as he should have been.
West Virginia shot only 26% from the field and only lost by 2. Gonzaga might get to the Final Four but thats where it will end.
The best team of the night was clearly Kansas who demolished Purdue.
Midnight came tonight for Michigan as Oregon wins 69-68.
That leaves the only Big 10 team left is Wisconsin.

I knew that you would use Xavier’s success to defend Turgeon’s abysmal coaching in the Maryland vs Xavier game. It was not the loss that bothered me, it was the way we lost. It is amazing how you can be critical of other coaches but cannot see how poorly the Maryland team is coached.
