Great day for basketball at the Capital One Arena. The 2 PM game was a near sellout and the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo
was in town.
Gia did not disappoint—27 points and 20 rebounds and he must have altered 5 shots. He is simply phenomenal.
Wall and Beal seemed out sorts firing up 39 shots while the rest of the team took only 37.
Kelly Oubre had a super game, keeping the Wiz in the game with great outside shooting.
But the star of the game was Eric Bledsoe, who somehow continued to get wide open looks in the 4 th quarter as he buried the Wizards with dagger after dagger.
The league is learning how to stop the Wizards and this must be dealt with by Scott Brooks immediately.
The Wizards are 25-19 , in 5th place in the Eastern Conference Standings.
The next 5 games are on the road–at Charlotte, Detroit, Dallas, OKC, and Atlanta before returning home on Jan 30.
