Group of Football Parents Support DJ Durkin

While there is a growing list of current and former players that are throwing their support behind DJ Durkin, there is perhaps an even stronger group who is willing to support the Maryland HC. Keisha Staples, mother of Terps defensive back Antoine Brooks Jr., told the associated press she is close with a group of about eight players’ parents who would like to meet with athletic director Damon Evans to state their ”full support” for coach DJ Durkin.

We will see if they meet but this is certainly an interesting turn after an anonymous staffer said that “I would never, ever, ever allow my child to be coached there.”
