Jones, who is from Olney, Maryland, transfers in from Ohio State and has one year of eligibility remaining, while Savoy, a Washington, D.C. native, comes from Virginia Tech and has two years of eligibility remaining.

Jones, a 6-foot-2, 228-pound linebacker that attended nearby Good Counsel High School, played in 34 games during his three seasons at Ohio State. He played in all 14 games in both 2017 and 2018 when the Buckeyes won back-to-back Big Ten Conference championships.
