Around The Horn w BP

Tuesday is huge for the Terps: First at 5PM, Colgate (2-0) comes to Maryland Stadium to face the # 3 Terps. Incredible win on Saturday as Goalie Danny Dolan mad an acrobatic save as time was running out to send the game to OT. Terps then scored 18 seconds into OT to defeat Penn 13-12. How does a lax team win when they are 6of 27 on Face offs and lose the GB war 29-10. Maryland just finds ways to win.

HUGE game for Turgeon’s guys at 8PM at Iowa as the Terps need to get a top 25 win on the road against Iowa in order to remain the 4th seed which assures a bye in the Big 10 Tournament.

What an incredible collapse by Justin Thomas, and Adam Scott allowing the slowest player in golf JB Holmes to win the Riviera tournament on Sunday in horrible windy conditions. Tiger mad a late run but bogied 4 holes on the final 9.

Super win for the Lady Terps last Thursday night at #4 Florida as the Seniors on this team are dominating the opposition.

NBA All Star game– LeBron’s team won (yawn) 178-164 –really. KD was the MVP.

Terps remain at #24 after an up and down week. Crushing $12 Purdue and then losing to #6 Michigan. I look forward to Michigan coming to Xfinity on March 3.

Antonio Brown is bad mouthing Big Ben all over twitter. AB says the QB acts like an owner.

Cain Velasquez, UFC great, was knocked out in 27 seconds Sunday night.

As I was going to sleep, the Caps were shutting out the LA Kings 3-0.midway through the 2nd period. Ovie had 2 pp goals Number 41 and 42.

From Mel Kiper on Predicts Josh Jackson (RB Alabama)could be the Ravens 1st pick in the NFL draft. Marc Appel has sung the highest praises for the addition of Jackson to Bmore.

22. Baltimore Ravens

Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama

Finally, a running back off the board. And new GM Eric DeCosta could go right back to Alabama, from where former GM Ozzie Newsome loved to mine prospects. Jacobs is a complete player and the most explosive back in this draft. He didn’t get a ton of touches in a talented Crimson Tide rotation, which means he has little tread on his tires. How’s this for a stat: Jacobs had 300 touches over three college seasons. Derrick Henry, who won the Heisman Trophy at Bama, had 406 touches in the 2015 season. There’s a lot to like about Jacobs, who has also shown nice hands in the passing game. Check out this catch and run.
