Harbaugh’s brother in law–Tom Creane has IU back in the mix after defeating Kentucky today on a last second 3 pointer.
Mick Cronin coach of Cinci promised some severe sanctions for some of his players after the brawl vs Xavier today. No, Lance Stephenson has been gone for over a year. Yancy Gates probably will face the strongest penalties after sucker punching one of the Xavier bigs.
The Lakers have pulled out of the Chris Paul sweepstakes and now are actively trying to add Superman–Dwight Howard. Meanwhile Pau Gasol was ecstatic that the deal was vetoed by Stern, but he might be part of the deal for Howard.
Should be a no brainer today for the guys in purple with or without Billy—Ravens 31 Colts 10. Message to Coach Harbaugh–No mercy please!!!!
Robert Griffin III wins the Heisman. Andrew Luck wins the sweepstakes as the #1 NFL pick.
Great piece on Todd Marinovich the Robo QB on ESPN 30-30.
Look, Reggie Bush is guilty of violating the amateur nature of College Football. He returned the most coveted award in all of sports. It’s simple Vince Young was the clear MVP of the Championship game and 2nd to Bush in the Heisman vote. The award belongs to him.
To no surprise Bama’s Mark Ingram nabbed the Heisman Trophy based on his 3 td 200 yard performance in the SEC Title game against Florida. Stanford’s Toby Gerhart finished a close 2nd.
Navy 17 Army 3 What else is knew? Next Big Game for the Middies—The Terps next September
Gilbert Arenas missed 2 free throws with 6 seconds left leading to another Wizards loss 114-113 to Indiana. I would like to meet the idiots who said Tyler Hansborough would never be a good NBA player, He sure was tonight scoring 19 for the Pacers.
I watched John Wall lead Kentucky to a come from behing victory over the Hoosiers today. This kid is unbelievable—watch him the next time he is on the tube.
The PGA is quivering thinking about what a Tigerless tour could mean with the economy still in a downturn.
What a fantastic game!! I wonder if Jamarr can run the triple option. The way Tech ran it, it almost seemed unstoppable. Georgia Tech was also playing with a makeshift offensive line. To me however CJ Spiller was the story of the game. 4 TDs –over 200 yards rushing –and he did this all while hobbling with a turf toe!!! Here’s my Heisman opinions:
Colt McCoy—no way especially after he almost let the clock run out—-5th place
Tim Tebow—wasn’t impressed at all with his passing accuracy in a comeback attempt—-4th place
Mark Ingram—probably is the favorite as the best back on the best team—2nd place
Ndamukong Suh—incredible game —could a defensive tackle win?—dominated like Chris Long–3rd place
CJ Spiller—Incredible all year–especially in the title game–my 1st place vote
I would like to see who everyone thinks deserves the award.
