What a tremendous weekend of baseball at Camden Yards. Funny story to tell. Maybe it was 2 years ago, I was having a conversation with baseball guru Phil Wood. I jokingly asked him if I would ever live to see a O’s Nats World Series. He surprised me when he said he wouldnt be shocked if it happened in the next 5 years or so. After this past weekend , I am wondering that maybe he was right. Because of the dilemna of the AL East, the Nats will probably get there before us. But with Wieters, Jones, and now Hammel as our backbone— hope springs eternal.
