July 11th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Maryland Basketball, NBA, Wizards

To no one’s surprise, John wall was simply scintillating last night in his first game with the Wizards. He scored 24 but more important was immediately able to incorporate everyone on the court into the offense. Ex terrapin star Eken Ibekwe scored 8, with 8 rebounds and 5 blocks in his effort with Portland last [...]

Evan Turner?—No Way–It’s Only John Wall—Look For Wizards to Discard Gilbert

May 20th, 2010 · No Comments · NBA

The phones were ringing off the hook at Verizon with season ticket requests. John Wall is a one in a decade player. It is inconceivable that he will not be a Wizard. To me it is also unthinkable that the Wizards will keep Gilbert Arenas around to foul up the future.  Ted Leonsis is a [...]

April 8th, 2010 · 1 Comment · NBA

Absolutely crazy that one college team could have 5 first round NBA picks. But John Wall, Demarcus Cousind, Patrick Patterson, Eric Bledsoe and Daniel Ortonare all projected 1st round picks. Some good news for the Terps—Singler’s play in the tourney has elevated him into 1st round status which means it will probably be Bye Bye [...]

VIVA VASQUEZ: Greivis Selected to 2nd Team AP All America

March 29th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Greivis Vasquez

Certainly to be named one of the 10 best Collegiate players in America is quite an honor and for that we congratulate Greivis. But in truth the kid deserved clearly to be 1st Team.  John Wall might turn out to be the best NBA player of the field but he certainly was not more instrumental [...]

No Shocker–Duke and Michigan State Advance To The Final Four—Calipari Crawls Back to Kentucky

March 28th, 2010 · 3 Comments · College Basketball

Absolutely unbelievable. The Terps should be in the final four or at least let’s say could have been in the Final Four. MSU gets a few bad calls in their favor to win game one, then they hit a prayer to beat the Terps and then are the recipients of the easy draw the Terps [...]

5’9″ Devan Downey Takes Down Calipari and Wall’s Wildcats

January 27th, 2010 · No Comments · College Basketball

John Wall is a stupendous guard for the Kentucky Colonels—-Wildcats but last night night 5’9″ Devan Downey rose to the occasion for South Carolina, scoring 30 and laughingly breaking Calipari’s feeble attempt at a full court press. Somewhere in heaven Frank McGuire was smiling last night.
