Super Tripleheader at College Park Tonight

Certainly Midnight Madness caps off a special night at College Park Friday night. Let’s list what recruits will attend:

Kam Williams, John Crosby, and Rashard Todd—all from Baltimore will be in the house.

Sam Cassell Jr will be taking his official visit this weekend. I really like Sam’s jumpshot. His bloodlines should run true. Maybe he will be the 4th 2012 commit. Seth Allen, already a 2012 verbal will be at the game.

DC Assault’s Rajay Bullock a 6’7 Junior will be attending.

Of course at 6PM at the Field Hockey Complex the Lady Terps will try to upset? #1 Old Dominion, who defeated the Terps 4-0 earlier in the season. Then at Ludwig #3 Maryland will take on Duke in soccer.

The Poker Brat spent 5 days putting himself in position to win then in 3 hands lost the Players Championship. Check it out on ESPN3.com Part II. I guess if you are being paid #10 million for a maximum of 36 minutes in the ring, a $600k fine isn’t that much. Floyd “Money “Mayweather was contected to weigh in at 144 or less since he is fighting a basic 135 pounder , who is up to 142 for the fight. mayweather weighed in at 146 and thus has a 4 lb advantage over Juan Mauel Marquez. This fight should be a classic as both fighters are in incredible condition though some of Marquez’ methods of training are highly unusual.

My pick is Mayweather by a decision.

AAU Tourney in Baltimore This Weekend

For those of us basketball freaks, there is a super AAU tornament in Baltimore this weekend. Check out Matt Bracken’s blog from the Sun. The games tip-off at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center is located at 1100 E. Fayette Street in Baltimore.

Phil Ivy , Phil Hellmuth, Jr, and Jeff Lisandro lead a smaller field into the Main Event that began on Friday. Lisandro has been the hottest player in the month long event at the Rio, winning 3 Bracelets (tournaments) however all in the stud discipline.
