The much anticipated final word on Sean Mosley’s becoming eligible for the 08 class was delayed yesterday for about 2-3 weeks. Apparently all of his summer school grading is not complete. Just a Great O’s game last night as George Sherrill loaded the bases with no one out then proceeded to strike out the side in the 9TH. The Cubs look like this might finally be their year–remember Soriano is out of what is an extremely impressive lineup.

Mock Draft Top 10

Bulls—Derrick Rose PG–will probably make Heinrich available –great fit for the Wizards——-

Miami—OJ Mayo PG/SG–just a gut feel —might be traded

Minnesota—Michael Beasely —Forward—Stock has fallen after measuring out at 6’7

Seattle— Brook Lopez–Center–great draft for 7 footers–hear that Ernie?

Memphis — Kevin Love F –dad’s influence will finally end

Knicks—Jerrald Bayless PG—crucial part of D”Antoni’s method

Clippers – Eric Gordon PG— disappears into NBA abyss

Milwaukee– Joe Alexander–great fit with Bogut–led WVU over Duke–speaks Mandarin -

Bobcats–Russell Westbrook PG–just a pure winner–fits on any team-

Nets–Danilo Gallinari–another soft Euro?

Wizards—-still think a 7 footer is the pick unless they don’t plan to resign #0 or Antawn—Look for Robin Lopez or Roy Hibbert

Thursday night on Terp talk we will have the Wizards PR Director Brian Sereno direct from the WAr Room. My guess as of now—either Roy Hibbert from Gtown or Robin Lopez from Stanford. Both guys are 7 footers and would sure up the center position for the Bullets. Jmaes Gist anxiously awaits his fate in the draft–look for recent Grad to be picked in the mid 2nd round and be utilized as a wing man (3). In other Basketball news, it was a great day for a former Terp star, terrence Morris who has found his niche in European Ball and signed a 5 million Euro contract with a top tier Russian club. No word on the fate of Sean Mosley yet–fingers still crossed!!!

The O’s venture into the home of the hottest team in baseball, the Chicago Cubs. First game is Tuesday night at Wrigley. Funny how the Brian Roberts deal never finalized yet both teams are probably better off it didn’t–at least I know the Cubs are!!!!! After MacPhail’s 5 for1 trades withe Houston and Seattle have been so one sided, I doubt if Andy would be able to pull off a duplicate in the near future.

As Maryland waits for its slots referendum, Florida gaming received a big boost with the addition of Blackjack at the Hard Rock Casino. Magna was unable to pull off the same deal at Gulfstream. Maryland should be proactive with the adds of other gaming events besides slots but what the heck we are already 10 years behind. Look for Delaware to co-opt the state and introduce table games and sports betting.
