Terps OSU Tied at Half 14-14.

After cruising through the Oregon secondary in the first period with 2 TD drives,  Maryland reverted to earlier season woes with 2 turnovers and several drive killing dropped passes to allow OSU to rally to a 14-14 halftime tie.  Chris Turner was sharp throughout the half throwing 2 TDs, the second a 63 yard bomb to Heyward Bey.  As we spoke about on Terp Talk, Ralph really had the troops ready to play.  The running game however was non-existent.  For the Terps to win, they must control the ball better to keep the defense from wearing down.  Trey Covington leads the Terps 6 tackles, including 3 sacks. Yvenson Bernard continues to carve up the Terps, going over 100 yds rushing early in the 3rd quarter.  This is a live blog from the Emerald Bowl.  Elsewhere Men’s Bball ended its 3 game losing streak with an easy win over Delaware.  Gary shook up the starting lineup bringing in Osby and Cliff Tucker for Milbourne and Braxton.  Next Game—Wednesday against Savannah State.
