Mosley Scores 19 But Tar Heels Crush Terps 108-91

Please don’t anyone tell me Roy Williams is a great coach. How is it possible that he ever loses with that talent. Wayne Ellington scored a season-high 34 points and No. 3 North Carolina hit a season-best 16 3-pointers in its sixth straight victory. I had commented that the Terps had to stay close early to have a chance but it just didn’t happen. Baltimore’s Sean Mosley continues to grow rapidly, scoring 19 points as he begins to look for his shot. His drives to the hoop are more and more successful. Cliff Tucker came off the bench to score 18 as the Terps fought for 40 minutes. Weaknesses of Carolina–the bench didn’t show me much and I believe that teams will begin to slow the game down against them, there is no future in track meets games against 5 1st or 2nd round NBA picks. Next up for the Terps is Georgia Tech Sunday night on the road.
