Tournament MVP Caitlyn McFadden scored 4 goals in the 2nd half to lead a furious comeback for the Lady Terps resulting in a 12-11 victory over Duke. The unbeaten #2 Terps trailed early in the 2nd half 8-4 before starting their surge. Key saves by Goalier Brittany Dipper preserved the victory. “This was just a great game,” head coach Cathy Reese, who met up with the contents of the water cooler for the first time in her career, said. “It was back and forth the entire game…we made some amazing defensive stops against some of the best players in the country and I couldn’t be more proud of this team.” The Terps close their regular season Saturday afternoon on Senior Day against Princeton.
