The No. 11 Maryland men’s soccer team snapped a two-game losing streak Tuesday night, dropping Loyola (Chicago), 1-0, at Ludwig Field in non-conference action. Kaoru Forbess notched his first career goal in the 26th minute to put Maryland on the board and snap a two-game scoring skid. His header from the far side of the box came off a solid cross from Terrapin senior Kwame Darko, who drove the ball 10 yards down the near sideline and floated a perfect ball to Forbess. It was also Darko’s first career assist. The Terps move to 6-3-1 with its next game Friday night vs Virginia Tech at Ludwig Field. (info from umterps.com)
