Bowie, Greivis, Eric Hayes Dominate Scrimmage

The best news of the day is the return of the offensive prowess of Senior guard Eric Hayes who has been nursing a turf toe.  Eric seems to have found his shooting which will be so crucial for the Terps.  Steve Goins sat out the practice with knee problems. Jordan Williams’ play was certainly improved over last week. Mosley and Padgett continued their tough as nails game. Padgett will get strong PT for a Freshman.Tuesday night can’t come soon enough. (umterps.com reported as follows: )

Greivis Vasquez scored 30 points on 11-for-16 shooting to lead all scorers Saturday in the second intrasquad scrimmage of the fall for the University of Maryland men’s basketball team. Landon Milbourne added 21 points, with Eric Hayes finishing with 18 points (4-for-6 from 3-point range).  Freshmen James Padgett (17 points, 11 rebounds) and Jordan Williams (11 points, 10 rebounds) each finished with double-doubles.
